It was only last month that we took notice of the smartphone Sony Xperia M too. Now, soon enough, Indian market is going to witness the launch of Sony Xperia Z Ultra phablet. Scheduled to hit the Indian shores by the end of July, this 6.4-inch Full HD TRILUMINOS screened smartphone, which boasts of new display technology and shatter proof sheet along with scratch-resistant glass shield, runs on the Android v4.2 Jelly Bean OS has popped up on the popular online store Saholic with a launch date of 31st of July. Sony in Hong Kong has already begun taking pre-orders priced at HKD(Hong Kong Dollar) 6,198, around Rs. 47,500.

Powered by the super-fast 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 series quad-core processor and an Adreno 330 graphics engine, the Sony Xperia Z Ultra does really feature some ultra premium features that it is going to boast off. Home for a 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of inbuilt storage expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card, this phablet has the awesomeness of Sony's dust-proof and water-resistant IP55/IP58 certifications. The rear end camera speaks of nothing less than a 8.0-megapixel camera shot with Exmor RS lens technology and 16X digital zoom as well as support for full HD video recording, while the front one is a decent 2.0-megapixel, just about good for making video calls back home. It is important to bring to your notice that users can record Full HD videos under fresh water up to five feet for close to 30 minutes. Take a look at that shot -

Deriving its power from a 3000 mAh battery that gives up to 14 hours of talk time, for connectivity the Sony Xperia Z Ultra features support for 3G & 4G(LTE), NFC, Bluetooth 4.0, A-GPS, Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi hotspot.
